Sarah Bolger is an up and coming actress who hails from Ireland. She appeared in several television and film productions but achieved international fame with her role in the 2008 film The Spiderwick Chronicles
Bringing Up Bolger
Bolger grew up with her parents, Derek and Monica, along with her younger sister Emma. The two sisters appeared together in the 2002 film titled In America.
Showtime
In 2008 Bolger landed the role of Princess Mary Tudor on the Showtime television series The Tudors. It was a great year for Miss Bolger as it was also the release of her first feature film The Spiderwick Chronicles. She played the character of Mallory Grace, the oldest of the Grace children. In the film she practiced fencing while fighting off the fairies.

Sarah Bolger has been nominated for plenty of distinguishing awards, including a SAG Award for an outstanding performance in the movie In America. Other awards that she has been nominated for include the Satellite Award and the Independent Spirit Award.
