Sara Ramirez

Sara (pronounced Sada) Ramirez is a television. and Broadway actress and singer who plays Dr. Callie Torres on the ABC medical drama Grey’s Anatomy. She has had a few minor roles in big screen movies such as Spider-Man and You’ve Got Mail, as well as guest appearances on TV series’ such as Spin City—About Last Night, Third Watch in the episode "The Tys that Bind”, and Law and Order: Special Victims Unit, as well as As the World Turns. In 2005, she earned a Tony Award for Best Performance by a Featured Actress in a Musical and the Outer Critics Award for Outstanding Featured Actress in a Musical for her role as the Lady of the Lake in Monty Python’s Spamalot.
