  • In response to the 2008 financial crisis and the recently passed TARP legislation, in December 2008, many news organizations have opted to inject some Christmas satire into the mix. Videos, cartoons and articles appeared featuring Santa Claus petitioning congress for a bailout, or giving his response to the bailout.
