  • An investigation into a shooting led to the closure of the Santa Ana Freeway (U.S. 101) near the Boyle Heights area of Los Angeles on the morning of Friday, December 12, 2008. Los Angeles police say they responded to a report of shots being fired at approximately 3:25 a.m PST.

    A Bentley was reportedly seen driving erratically and it came to a stop after crashing into a median. Police found a man shot several times slumped over the steering wheel in the vehicle.
