Origins of the Wrap
"Tortilla Hall of Fame" member James Beaton first introduced the wrap to the UK. This eventually led to the UK's first wrap Restaurants called "Wrap it up!" Boston based "Sami's Wrap-N-Roll" claims that they invented the wrap. Former Major League Baseball player and manager Bobby Valentine also claims to have invented the wrap that is served at his restaurant. Regardless of origin, wrap and roll-up sandwiches are now sold are numerous restaurant locations throughout the world. -
