Sandra Oh is a Canadian actress of southern Korean descent who first gained notice in the independent film Double Happiness. She went on to star on the HBO comedy Arliss, and co-starred in the film Sideways with Paul Giamatti and Thomas Hayden Church. She currently plays Dr. Cristina Yang on the ABC medical drama Grey's Anatomy.
