Sandi Jackson

Sandi Jackson is the incumbent Chicago Alderman for the seventh ward. Her election to the post came as she defeated Darcel Beavers, the daughter of a longtime ally to Richard M. Daley. December 15, 2006: The Associated Press reports that Sandi Jackson, who was up for the job to be the director of the lottery following the 2002 election, was denied the position because Jesse Jackson Jr. didn't contribute $25,000 to Gov.
