The San Francisco Giants play in the West Division of the National League in Major League Baseball. In their Franchise history the giants have won Five World Series Championships and 12 National League Pennants.
On July 14, 2005 the Giants beat their rival Dodgers to record their 10,000th victory. This gave the Giants more victories than any team in all of professional sports (not just baseball).
