San Diego is a Southern California coastal city and the second largest city in California. San Diego lies north of Mexico, sharing a border with Tijuana. San Diego is a popular vacation spot, with many tourist attractions and fine dinning.
The Surfing Culture

San Diego has always been a hotspot for surfers and skateboarders. Some of the biggest names in the industry are headquartered here such as Sector 9 Skateboards, TransWorld Media, and Rusty Surfboards. Some of the best surfing spots are found in San Diego like, Swamis, Black's Beach,and Windansea. San Diego is home to it's own chain of surf shops such as Sun Diego. Many well known surfers, skaters, and snowboarders such as pro surfers Taylor Knox and Rob Machado and, pro skateboarder Tony Hawk, all live in San Diego.
San Diego Zoo

San Diego is home to the famous San Diego Zoo, one of Southern California's largest tourist attractions. The San Diego Zoo houses over 3000 animals on 1,800 acres located in the San Pasqual Valley.
