• San Antonio is a city in Texas, the second largest to be exact. Dining in the city is a bit like the lodging, there are many options and it's just a matter of what you are looking for and in what price range. Many of the resorts offer fine-dining facilities, but there are also a lot of budget choices along the street throughout the city. Visitors will find that there are a lot of Mexican and Southwestern cuisine dining choices because of the close proximity to the Mexican border.
  • Fine Dining

Located in the Westin La Cantera Resort, [[Francesca’s at Sunset]] is an excellent option for fine-dining with great reviews. They have earned a AAA four-diamond rating, as well as a Frommer's exceptional rating. Their menu focuses on Southwestern cuisine and the wine list is "excellent." Like most fine-dining establishments, then menu changes seasonally, based on locally grown, fresh ingredients. The entrees can be a bit on the spicy side, but that's just a part of the Southwest-style cooking. The setting is said to be "romantic" and the view, "idyllic." Reservations are highly recommended because of limited seating.
  • Affordable Dining

The Guenther House is not only a piece of San Antonio's history, but also a low-priced restaurant, museum and store. The lunch menu is short and simple, featuring enchiladas, salads, soups, sandwiches, desserts, drinks and a special of the day. They also have a tasty breakfast menu that is served all day. Fresh-baked pastries and other specialties are sold in their store.
