Luxury Hotels
For the best, well-rated splurge option in downtown San Antonio, the Watermark Hotel and Spa is perfect. It's won various awards, such as being listed on the Conde Nast Traveler gold list and the Travel + Leisure 500 list, two of the best ratings that any hotel or resort can receive. There are only about 100 rooms and suites in the Watermark, but each is a haven of "luxury." They are all modestly furnished and include amazing amenities, including four-poster beds, marble bathrooms and "leather-topped" desks. The spa at the Watermark is the only "world-class spa" in downtown San Antonio. They have almost 20 treatment rooms and a hydrotherapy tub for those guest that want to relax in private and ultimate comfort. There are also fitness classes that run weekly that include "Kundalini Yoga" instructions.
Affordable Hotels
The Bullis House Inn is a budget place to stay that has rooms for under $100 USD. It's a historic building, built in 1906, that provides all the charm of a 20th century building, such as high ceiling, chandeliers and "French windows.". Included in the low rates is a continental breakfast, some rooms with fireplaces, air conditioning and use of their private, outdoor pool. The rooms are all private, but only one has it's own bathroom, the rest are shared.Mahalo Suggests
