(Charles) Samuel Rael is the producer of the 1995 independent film Deadly Run. In March 2008, Rael revealed that the plot for the movie, which involved a serial killer who held women captive in a remote forest cabin, was the idea of confessed murderer Gary Michael Hilton. Hilton is currently being imprisoned for the slaying of Georgia hiker Meredith Emerson, and has been indicted for the murder of Cheryl Dunlap in Florida in 2007. Hilton is suspected in the murders of John and Irene Bryant. Rael claims that Hilton was involved in all aspects of the production of Deadly Run, and that the events depicted in the film and those that Hilton carried out a decade later are eerily similar.
