  • Samuel Pahlsson is a professional hockey player originally from Sweden. He currently plays for the Chicago Blackhawks.

  • Hockey Career

    Prior to playing in the NHL, Pahlsson played hockey in Sweden for Team MoDo in the Swedish Elitserien, starting in 1994. He was drafted 176th overall in the 1996 NHL draft by the Colorado Avalanche. He continued to play in Sweden for several years and was traded before he played in the NHL. Pahlsson was sent to the Boston Bruins on March 6, 2000, and made his professional debut that same year.

    On November 18, 2000, Pahlsson was traded to the Anaheim Ducks. He returned to the Swedish Elitserien suring the 2004-2005 NHL Lockout, playing for Frolunda. After the lockout, Pahlsson played in each of the 82 regular season games with the Ducks in the 2005-2006 and 2006-2007 seasons. He helped the Ducks win the Stanley Cup Championships as well in 2007.
