Samuel Moreno

Samuel Moreno was elected Mayor of Bogota on October 28, 2007. His left wing party is in opposition to the policies of Colombian President Alvaro Uribe.

His father, Samuel Moreno Diaz, was a congressman, his mother, Maria Eugenia Rojas, was a presidential candidate, his grandfather, Gustavo Rojas Pinilla, was a Colombian military dictator and his brother, Ivan Moreno Rojas, is a former mayor, minister and senator.
