Sammy Kershaw is an country music singer-songwriter. Kershaw released his first album Don't Go Near the Water in 1991, since then he has released ten albums and has more than 25 singles on the Billboard Country Charts including the number one hit "She Don't Know She's Beautiful". In 2007 his wife country singer Lorrie Morgan filed for divorce. Kershaw has announced that he is running for lieutenant governor of Louisiana in the October '07 primary.
