Brief Background

Sameera Reddy began her career in entertainment as a model but soon found her way into films. Her first few movies did not fare will at the box office, but she broke through to audiences in 2004 with her appearance in the film Musafir. The film changed her image from shy girl to sex symbol, and she has been receiving steady work since.
Her older sister is an actress as well, and her younger sister is a VJ. Sameera Reddy's recent appearance in Race has had audiences praising her for her comedic talents. In addition to Hindi films, she has also starred in Telegu and Bengali films.
