Samantha Peszek

American gymnast Samantha Peszek was selected to join the U.S. Olympic Gymnastics Team at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China. She competed in the team all-around event and helped the U.S. team win the silver medal.NBC Olympics: Samantha Peszak

Peszek started practicing gymnastics when she was two years old. In 2003, at the age of 11, she competed in the Gymnastics Regional Championships, where she placed eighth. Peszek joined the U.S. National Gymnastics Team in 2004.
