  • Sam Elliott is a film and television actor. He made his screen debut in 1969 with a small part in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid and went on to play roles in several TV series including Mission: Impossible and TV movies like Buffalo Girls (which earned him both Emmy and Golden Globe nominations).

    The big screen has seen plenty of Elliott as well, including such movies as Tombstone, Road House, Hulk, We Were Soldiers, The Golden Compass, and many more.

    Elliott contributed his signature gruff, deep voice as the narrator of the Coen Brothers comedy The Big Lebowski, but he has also done voice overs for TV commercials for Toyota, IBM and others.
