Salvatore Ferragamo is a fashion label founded by the designer Salvatore Ferragamo in 1927. It is also known as the "shoemaker to the stars". After the death of Ferragamo in 1959, his widow took over the company. It was his daughter, Giovanna, who introduced the first designer clothing line by the label.
