Saltimbocca is a dish that consists of thinly cut slices of meat such as chicken or veal, that are wrapped with prosciutto, marinated in wine with sage and then sauteed.

Saltimbocca alla Romana

The popular and classic version of saltimbocca is saltimbocca alla romana, a specialty of Rome. The dish consists of veal cutlets, prosciutto, sage, butter or olive oil and a dry white wine or the fortified wine Marsala.
