Salt Lake City Hotels

  • Salt Lake City is the capital and the largest city in Utah. The city hosted the 2000 Winter Olympics and is popular for it's winter activities and ski resorts. Salt Lake City actually isn't that big of a city, therefore there are not a large amount of well-rated lodging options, and the majority are located in the Downtown district. There are a variety of backpacker hostels located throughout the city for those just passing through or looking for a clean, comfortable bed for the night.
  • Luxury Stay

The Grand America Hotel is not only a hotel, but an attraction due to it being one of the "most beautiful city hotels" in the world. It's definitely luxury at it's best, with a five-diamond rating and fantastic views. There are just under 800 rooms in this large hotel, a "world-class" spa and two pools: one indoors and one outside, as well as a children's pool and whirlpool. Some of the many room amenities include turn-down service at night, private bars, 24-hour room service and in-room movies and games.

The Grand America Spa, located with-in the hotel, is said to be "world-class." With a full-service salon, indoor pool, a variety of treatment and massage options and a fitness center, there isn't much to complain about. For a fee, in-room massages and yoga sessions can be arranged.

  • Affordable Stay

The Anton Boxrud Bed and Breakfast is really more of a moderate option, but there are rooms available as low as $75 USD. Located only a short walk away from many restaurants, shopping and nightlife, this bed and breakfast is in a great spot for sightseeing and vacationing. Their breakfasts are said to be the "best in Salt lake City" and each room is supplied with many goodies to make your stay as comfortable as can be. The cheapest room is a single and shares a bathroom with other guest but for $10 more, you can reserve the double, also with a shared bathroom, but has a "beautiful view" of the area below.
