Actor Said Taghmaoui began his career as a boxer. In 1995, he wrote and starred in the French film La Haine with collaborator Mathieu Kassovitz. After the release of La Haine Taghmaoui began acting full time. He has starred in the films Hideous Kinky, Traitor and Vantage Point.
