Model and former Miss Face of Asia winner Sahar Daftary died after she fell from her husband's 12th story apartment building December 20, 2008. Daftary had recently learned that her husband, Rashid Jamil, was married to another woman. It was unknown if Dafatary's death was an accident, a suicide or a homicide as of December, 2008. Jamil was arrested after her death, but released, and maintains his innocence.
