The Screen Actors Guild Awards is an award held yearly by the Screen Actors Guild, the union for film and TV performers. The 2009 SAG Awards was held on January 25, 2009 in Los Angeles. As always, the fashion at the awards was as widely discussed as the winners.
Many fashion critics loved the blue Narciso Rodriguez dress on Kate Winslet, who won an award for her performance in the movie The Reader. Critics also liked the white Azzaro dress worn by Anne Hathaway.
Many fashion critics were disappointed at Angelina Jolie, who wore a simple blue dress designed by Max Azria. Critics also did not like the blue dress worn by Nicollette Sheridan.
