• About the SAG Awards

  The Screen Actors Guild Awards are the only awards show televised that exclusively awards actors, actresses and stunt performers. The ceremony is comprised of thirteen awards for acting in film and television. The awards recognize individual performances and also entire ensembles of dramatic and comedic television series, as well as the cast of a motion picture. • Selection Process

  4200 randomly selected SAG members across the United States are selected as the SAG Awards nominating committee. The committee chooses the nominees for each of the SAG Awards categories from film and television in the year. A final ballot is determined by nominating committee, then all of the members of the Screen Actors Guild vote to select winners from that ballot.
