2008 SAG Nominations
- The film Doubt received more nominations than any other movie, with nods at Meryl Streep, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Amy Adams and Viola Davis for their roles in the movie.
- The late Heath Ledger earned a nomination for Best Actor in a Supporting Role for playing The Joker in The Dark Knight.
- Taraji Henson received more nominations than any other actor or actress. She received a nomination for Best Supporting Actress in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, which also received a nomination for Best Ensemble Cast and one as a member of the Boston Legal crew for Best Drama Ensemble.
- Kate Winslet came in with the second leading amount of nominations. One for Best Lead Actress for her role in Revolutionary Road and the other for Best Supporting Actress in The Reader.
