Saffron Burrows is an English actress and former model. She was born on October 21, 1972 in London, England. Her architect father and teacher mother are socialists. Burrows was discovered by a talent scout at the age of 15. She then began a career in modeling. Burrows was romantically linked to film director Mike Figgis. They later split. Rumor has it that Burrows is currently involved with actress Fiona Shaw. Neither actress has confirmed nor denied their involvement.
Acting Career
Burrows made her film debut in 1993 with In the Name of the Father. In 1995, she appeared in the film Circle of Friends. Since then, she has gone on to play in Cold Lazarus, Lovelife, Loss of Sexual Innocence, Deep Blue Sea, Timecode, Enigma, Peter Pan and Troy. Her more recent works include Perfect Creature, Fay Grim, Reign Over Me, Dangerous Parking and Boston Legal.
