• Sacred 2: Fallen Angel is an action RPG developed by Ascaron Entertainment. Originally released for PC in November 2008, a port of the game is currently in development and will be released for the PS3 and Xbox 360 in May 2009.

  • About the Game

    Sacred 2: Fallen Angel plays similarly to the Diablo games, with a top-down 3D isometric view that can be zoomed in and out. The game world is immense, covering an estimated 22 square miles. Like most action role-playing games, the goal is to beat down your enemies and collect loot, upgrading weapons and armor in the process.

    There are two campaigns to choose from: the Light or Shadow side. There are six different characters, each with different abilities, background and appearance. Players will also have the chance to unlock a special mount, which can be equipped and upgraded.

  • The Story

    T-Energy is a powerful force that flows through the world. It is the source of all magic and brings prosperity to any who control it. The Seraphim, who once guarded T-Energy in order to protect the world, passed on its secrets to the High Elves. Inevitably, they disagreed on how the power should be used and civil war erupted. With the High Elves weakened, other races saw an opportunity to seize power.

    Chaos ensued and control over the T-Energy was lost completely. Cities were wiped out, entire regions became barren, wildlife mutated into frightening monsters. Now, war is threatening to wrack the land and there is a growing need for heroes to save the world.
