Sacre Coeur

  • The white domes of the Basilique du Sacré-Coeur ("Basilica of the Sacred Heart") overlook Paris with a panoramic view. Located in Montmartre, visitors to Sacre Coeur may be able to see for a distance of more than 20 miles on a clear day.

Although the Basilica was not consecrated until 1919, after the end of World War I, the Blessed Sacrament has received perpetual prayers of adoration since 1885.Paris.org: Basilique du Sacré Coeur
