History
Sacramento was a very big part of the [California Gold Rush] in the late 1880's. Sacramento became the state capital of [California] in [1879] surprisingly this was not going to be the State Capitol, but did become the Capital. Another intresting not that most people may notice is that the California capital building was designed to look like the [United States Capitol] in [Washington DC].
