Career
Though he never spoke a word in interviews, Sabu won multiple titles in Extreme Championship Wrestling. He feuded with Tommy Dreamer, Tazz and Shane Douglas, who he won the ECW World Heavyweight Championship from in 1993.Online World of Wrestling: Sabu
In a 1994 match against Chris Benoit, Sabu broke his neck after a botched back body drop maneuver. He continued wrestling even with the injury.<ref name="SLAM! Wrestling">SLAM! Wrestling: Sabu
Three years later, Sabu defeated Terry Funk for the World Heavyweight Championship in a barbed wire match. The bout has been considered one of the "most extreme" of its kind,SLAM! Wrestling: Sabu with Sabu getting his bicep torn open during the contest.
He has also competed in TNA Wrestling and World Wrestling Entertainment through the 2000s. He currently wrestles on the independent circuit.
