S. Darko is the sequel to ‘’Donnie Darko’’ and takes place seven years after the original, in which Donnie Darko dies. S. Darko follows the life of Samantha, Darko’s younger sister, as she copes with his death and the tragic circumstances of her life.
Plot Summary
In S. Darko, Samantha and her best friend, Corey, take a road trip to Hollywood, looking to turn their lives around. On the way, their car breaks down, stranding them in a small town in the middle of the desert. While stranded, a meteorite crashes nearby and threatens to end life as they know it. In another twist, Samantha learns that she was actually adopted by the Darkos and must come to terms with that realization while trying to save the world from destruction.
