Rygar: The Battle of Argus is a remake of 2002's PS2 game Rygar: The Legendary Adventure, which was itself an update of an arcade game called Rygar.
The Battle of Argus, set in a Greco-Roman mythological world, tells the story of Rygar, a legendary warrior who must defend the island kingdom of Argus from invading monsters. Rygar: The Battle of Argus features two separate gameplay modes. The first is Conquest Mode, which is a traditional story mode. Gladiator Mode is an arena consisting of 30 levels, each more difficult than the last.
