Gladiator Mode

A new addition to Rygar: The Legendary Adventure for the Wii version of the game is Gladiator Mode. In this arcade-style mode, you play as Rygar as you battle through successive waves of enemies in an arena. There are 30 levels of enemies to defeat in this Mode. Also, the Wii's motion-based controls play a bigger part in Gladiator Mode.IGN: Rygar: The Battle of Argus Review Page 2 (December 5, 2008) In the normal single-player mode, motion controls are only used to perform finishing moves on enemies.
Story

Rygar: The Battle of Argus takes place in a mythical Rome populated by gods and creatures from Greek and Roman mythology. Rygar lives on an island in the Mediterranean sea called Argus. During a ceremony honoring him, the Titans attack Argus and Icarus kidnaps the princess Harmonia. Rygar, who discovers the mysterious weapon the Diskarmor, must use his new tool to find Harmonia, rescue her and defeat the Titans.
