American professional hockey player Ryan Miller plays for the Buffalo Sabres in the National Hockey League.
He was selected to be a member of Team USA Men's Hockey team, and was named the starting goaltender by head coach Ron Wilson. Through three preliminary round games, Miller has allowed just four goals. He made 42 saves during Team USA's dramatic 5-3 upset victory over Team Canada on February 21, 2010. The victory moved Team USA into first place for the preliminary round, meaning they will automatically advance into the quarterfinals.
Despite having to go to Buffalo, New York the following day to resume NHL play, Ryan Miller still attended the Closing Ceremony to show support for Canada and Team USA. Next to him is his Olympic teammate and Los Angeles Kings defenseman Jack Johnson.
