American swimmer Ryan Lochte is a world record holder and six-time Olympic medalist. Lochte won two gold and two bronze medals at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China. He earned an individual gold medal in the 200 meter backstroke and individual bronze medals in the 200 and 400 meter individual medley events. Swimming Career
Prior to his professional career, Lochte swam for the University of Florida.
