The Cheap Shot
Holloweg was involved in an incident on March 8, 2007. He checked the New York Islanders left wing Chris Simon into the boards head first. Simon retaliated by swinging his stick at Hollweg's face, causing a chin laceration that required stitches. Simon was suspended for 25 games from the cheap shot, as the NHL deemed it a deliberate act.
