Professional baseball catcher Ryan Doumit plays Major League Baseball for the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Baseball Career
After attending Moses Lake High School in Moses Lake, Washington, the Pirates selected Doumit in the second round of the 1999 amateur draft. After six years as a minor league prospect, Doumit made his MLB debut on June 5, 2005. Doumit shares the Pirates' catching duties with Ronny Paulino.
Doumit played in a career-high 83 games during the 2007 season, scoring 33 rums and 69 hits in 252 batting attempts. He also scored a career-high nine homeruns and recorded a .274 batting average.
Strengths
