    After his college career at Louisiana State University was complete, Ryan Clark entered the 2002 NFL Draft. Despite not being drafted, Clark signed with the New York Giants and played on special teams.     In 2006, Clark signed as a free agent with the Pittsburgh Steelers. In his first year with the Steelers, Clark played in 13 games with 72 tackles and an interception. Clark played in only 6 games during the 2007 season, missing the rest of the year after hacing his spleen and gall bladder removed.
