Early Life
Ryan Cleo Bowen was born in Fort Madison, Iowa on November 20, 1975. He attended high school at Fort Madison. He continued his education at the University of Iowa. In 1998, Bowen was selected by the Denver Nuggets with the 55th pick in the NBA Draft.Basketball-Reference.com: Ryan Bowen
Pro Career
In Bowen's first season with the Nuggets, he appeared in 52 games and averaged 2.5 points and 2.2 rebounds. Bowen spent several seasons with the Nuggets until 2004, when he signed with the Houston Rockets as a free agent. During the 2006-2007 season, Bowen played in Europe.
