Ry Cooder is a multi-Grammy Award-winning guitarist who has worked as studio artist, a singer and a movie soundtrack composer. Cooder is also responsible for the compilation that eventually became the Grammy Award-winning album, Buena Vista Social Club. Over the course of his decades-long career, Cooder has worked on projects with a number of different musicians, including Taj Mahal, Captain Beefheart, The Rolling Stones, Van Morrison and Nicky Hopkins.
