Runaways is a Marvel comic book about several super-villains' children attempting to atone for their parents' misdeeds.
-
Synopsis
Runaways is distinguished from other Marvel Comics titles in two ways. The primary setting is Los Angeles rather than New York City, and the main characters rarely use traditional super-hero code names in favor of their civilian identities. While part of the canonical Marvel universe, story arcs in Runaways rarely intersect with other Marvel comics.Joss Weadon, creator of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Firefly, and Dollhouse, took over writing Runaways in April, 2007, to be followed by Strangers in Paradise writer Terry Moore.
