RSS Ticker

The RSS Ticker is an add-on for Firefox that scrolls the unread items from the user's bookmarked newsfeeds across the bottom of the browser window. Really Simple Syndication (RSS) delivers regularly changing content (e.g., news and blog posts) to a user designated location - typically an RSS Reader.http://www.whatisrss.com/

The RSS Ticker for Firefox browsers makes this content available in a stock market-like ticker that scrolls across the bottom (or under your bookmarks) of your browser screen. There is no need to look for your RSS feeds on a separate location such as your iGoogle page or an RSS reader. All your RSS feeds saved as Live Bookmarks (and selected in RSS Ticker) will appear on the ticker at the bottom of your browser.

A number of different customizations can be made to the RSS Ticker. Go to the "Options" dialog by right-clicking on the ticker and selecting "Options". You can set the following perferences:http://www.chrisfinke.com/firstrun/rss-ticker.php

* Bold items you haven't already read

* Have all links automatically open in new tabs

The feeds you wish to view can be selected from the options menu of the add-on
