  • Rozita Swinton, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, is accused of making hoax phone calls that led to the raid on the the FDLS' Yearning for Zion Ranch in Texas, in the spring of 2008. Swinton allegedly called authorities claiming to be "Sarah," a pregnant teenager trapped in an abusive marriage to an older man.     Swinton is scheduled for a May 19, 2009, jury trial for a separate case.   • YFZ Raid

    Swinton called 911 and claimed she was a pregnant 16-year-old girl, married to an older and abusive man at the Yearning for Zion Ranch in Texas. The phone calls led to the April 2008 raid on the ranch. Over 400 children were taken from their families during an investigation by law enforcement and the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services.
