Early Life
Roger Royce Ring was born in La Mesa, California, on December 21, 1980. He attended Monte Vista High School. He continued his education at San Diego State University. Pro Career
In 2003, he was traded to the New York Mets with Andrew Salvo and Edwin Almonte for Roberto Alomar. On April 29, 2005, Ring made his MLB debut with the New York Mets. In 2006, he was traded to the San Diego Padres and in 2007 was traded again to the Atlanta Braves.
