Royal Icing is a glaze icing originating in England. Made of egg white powder or meringue powder, powdered sugar and flavor extracts. Royal icing is most commonly known for its use on gingerbread houses. Royal icing can be used as a glue when thickened, or a glaze when diluted. Royal icing is one of the easiest icings to make.
