Roy Halladay is a right-handed Major League Baseball pitcher for the Philadelphia Phillies. He's a former Cy Young Award winner in 2003. Career
The Blue Jays made Halladay the 17th overall section in the 1995 amateur draft. Halladay worked his way up to the majors in 1998. In 1999, Halladay played his first full year in the majors, and became a member of the Blue Jays' starting rotation. In 2000, Halladay struggled, posting a 4-7 record and a 10.64 ERA. Halladay had two no-hitters in the 2010 season alone, one in the regular season and another in the playoffs. On May 29, 2010, Halladay threw a perfect game, the first of his career and the first in Philadelphia Phillies' history since 1964, against the Florida Marlins. The Phillies won that game 1-0.
