Roy Chaderton

  • President Hugo Chavez of Venezuela announced the appointment of Roy Chaderton as the ambassador to the United States, on April 18, 2009. Chaderton's appointment follows a meeting between President Barack Obama and Chavez, on April 17, 2009.     The U.S. and Venezuela have not had ambassadors since September 2008.
