Roxanne Pallet

Roxanne Pallet is an actress, singer and model, from the Northern English city of Carlisle. Before joining the cast of the long running British soap opera Emmerdale (as the character Jo Stiles), Pallet sang in the pop group Urban Angel and received a degree in media and cultural studies at Liverpool John Moores University. Pallet posed for a spread in the July 2008 issue of Loaded, and is featured on the cover.

Pallet was honored in 2007 at the Southport Flower Show, a large flower festival held annually in the seaside town of Southport since 1924. Pallet was presented with a rose, officially named after her by the grower who developed it, Keith Jones. The Roxanne Pallet Rose is a hybrid tea rose with a rich red hue. Pallet reportedly made the following statement: "This is absolutely wonderful and all the more precious as my grandma used to take me to Southport Flower Show every year when I was little."
