  • NHL Career

    Klesla was drafted fourth overall in the 2000 NHL Draft by the Columbus Blue Jackets. He made his NHL debut that same year and played eight games with the Blue Jackets during the 2000-01 regular season. Flesla played in the Czech Republic, for the HC Vsetin, during the 2004-05 NHL Lockout. On April 18, 2006, Klesla re-signed with the Blue Jackets to a reported four-year contract extension. Klesla however missed the first two games of the 2006-07 regular season after he was suspended by the league for a late hit during a pre-season game.
